AgendaOnline.com "The Site" (a service of Agenda Magazine and Red 7 Media, LLC) considers your privacy to be critical to the relationship we have as your information resource. The privacy policy outlined below sets forth what information we collect about you, how we use that information, and the choices you have about how we use your information. The policy describes the ways that personally identifiable and anonymous information about our subscribers, web-based product users and event participants is collected.

AgendaOnline.com and its parent company is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.

Information Provided by Customers

Personally identifiable information is often required to participate or receive various services, events and publications offered by AgendaOnline.com. This may include your full name, e-mail address, postal address, telephone number, fax number, company name, professional title and additional demographic information about you.

We collect personally identifiable information that you choose to provide to us when you subscribe to our magazines, sign up for e-mail newsletters, enter a sweepstakes, content or other special promotion, attend a Web cast, download or view a White Paper or other specialized content, register for a Web site, attend a trade show or event, submit a support request; or otherwise communicate with us. When you provide this information to us, you are no longer 'anonymous'. If you purchase products of services on our websites, or through one of our printed forms, you may also choose to provide us with your credit card or other payment information. This information is never shared with a third party and is kept highly secure, as explained later in this document.

AgendaOnline.com is not responsible for the information you voluntarily provide about yourself in any 'public' area of our web site, such as discussion forums, chat rooms, blog comments, an online public profile or other open access processes. You may update your online profile, if applicable, on AgendaOnline.com and other Red 7 Media web site properties which you have participated.

Anonymous Information

AgendaOnline.com use cookies and other web-based/Internet technologies to track user activity throughout our web sites, e-mail products and other online features. These cookies do not collect any information, in itself, that is personally identifiable, unless you are logged-in as a registered user of the site. In those cases, AgendaOnline.com may review traffic patterns of types of users based on demographic information collected.

AgendaOnline.com utilizes several industry-standard third party delivery methods for online advertising. These products serve advertisements when you visit our Web sites and receive/open our e-mail products. How We Use Your Contact Information

  • If you are a current or recent subscriber to one of our print publications or offline products, we will send you notices for subscription renewal or subscription-related updates.

  • If you are a current or recent attendee or sponsor of one of our events, we will send yhou notices and updates related to your participation in these and future events.

  • To provide you with information about products or services you've accessed or ordered, including online events, trade shows, web site features and related products.

  • Communicating with you about changes or updates to our sites, products and services.

We may also use your contact information to ask for you to input in research about our events, services, products; ask you to provide additional information to help us improve your experience with our products; or provide you with additional information about this or other Agenda Magazine or Red 7 Media web sites, products, services or events we think may be of interest to you.

You may also receive e-mail newsletters and other content-driven e-mail products with targeted, relevant content based on your provided demographic information or the appropriate industry our publication, event or Web site targets.

Any contact from AgendaOnline.com and other Red 7 Media properties will have a clear means for you to update your information in our online and offline databases, opt-in or opt-out of future communications based on the individual contact, the type or platform of communication, or globally.

We may also send you relevant, screened offers from reputable third party businesses, organizations or partners. Many of our customers and users appreciate these offers and messages because they are related to their business, community or occupation. However, you can always opt-out at any time from all future third party offers as described above.

Additionally, regardless of whether you have unsubscribed from receiving advertising, content or promotional material from AgendaOnline.com, you will continue to receive transaction information from us, such as information related to your account, payment or billing information.

When you follow the opt-out instructions on a particular communication from AgendaOnline.com, or you contact us to remove you from select or multiple types and means of contacts, your request will be processed within 10 days. Please note that during this time, you may continue to receive email messages or other communication from AgendaOnline.com about its products and services.

How, What and When We Share Information with Third Parties

AgendaOnline.com and Red 7 Media contracts with several reputable third party companies to provide us with specialized services such as customer service, online and offline subscription fulfillment, research, statistical analysis, list cleansing, postal mailings, e-mail and fax delivery, telemarketing and other information services that are important to providing you with the quality service and products you expect from Agenda publications and services. Those companies do not share your information with any other companies without the user's explicit permission.

In compliance with privacy laws, we also provide our opt-out lists to those third party companies to ensure they are suppressed from communications sent on AgendaOnline.com/Red 7 Media's behalf from those companies. We only deal with companies whom we believe share our commitment to your privacy.
AgendaOnline.com and Red 7 Media will disclose your personal information and/or IP address under the following circumstances:

  • When required by law or in good-faith belief that such action is necessary to:
    • Cooperate with the investigation of purported unlawful activities and conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on AgendaOnline.com and/or Red 7 Media;
    • Protect and defend the rights or property of Red 7 Media and its products and related properties, or visitors/users of Red 7 Media products and related properties;

Any communication from those third-parties once they are provided your information is managed through their systems, subject to their privacy policy and opt-in/opt-out standards. When we do share this information in these cases, AgendaOnline.com/Red 7 Media requires that the third party follows privacy and anti-spam practices substantially similar to those of Red 7 Media, and that your information provided by AgendaOnline.com/Red 7 Media not be further shared with any third parties without your additional explicit permission via their systems.

For all other use of your information, AgendaOnline.com/Red 7 Media maintains a strict 'No Spam' policy that means that we do not sell, rent or otherwise give your personal information to a third-party, without your consent or as permitted by this Privacy Policy.

Certain information, such as your password and credit card information, is never disclosed in any form whatsoever to any outside party. Some transactions and registration components may take place through third-party software or partners, but this information is used for those purposes only and is not shared otherwise.

Information Transfer

AgendaOnline.com and Red 7 Media is based in Norwalk, Connecticut, in the United States of America. Any information you provide may be stored and maintained in a secure database in the United States or transferred to a secure database outside the United States.

In the case of a change of ownership or a merger involved AgendaOnline.com or any business unit or property that is part of Red 7 Media, your contact information associated with that business would be one of those transferred assets.

Linking to Other Sites & Companies

If you click a link, advertisement, image or other means on a AgendaOnline.com or within an e-mail, you may be taken to a Web site of a sponsor, advertiser, partner or other third party. Your visit and any information you provide once you are on their web site will fall under their individual privacy policy, if applicable. AgendaOnline.com and Red 7 Media is not responsible for any information collected once you are no longer utilizing AgendaOnline.com or Red 7 Media product.

For information about opting out of third-party advertisers' tracking methods in conjunction with links, online ads, etc. please visit the advertisers' site. Typically, like with our own sites, there will be a privacy policy link on their site.

We encourage you to check the privacy policy of each web site you visit before submitting any information to them.

Keeping Your Data Secure

The security of your data is very important to AgendaOnline.com and Red 7 Media. We use industy-standard security precautions, including appropriate technical, administrative and physical procedures, to protect personal information from loss, misuse or alteration. This includes contracting with companies that provide us with services and technology that share our commitment to privacy and information security. However, we are not responsible for any breach of security or for the actions of these parties.

Due to the design of the Internet, ever-changing security methods and attempts to disrupt said security, and other factors outside the control of AgendaOnline.com and Red 7 Media, we cannot guarantee that communications between you and our servers will be free from unauthorized access by third parties. We also strongly encourage users to ensure their computers and other devices used to access the internet, email and the Web are up-to-date with the latest anti-spyware, anti-spam, anti-virus and other security software to ensure optimum protection.

Children's Privacy

AgendaOnline.com and Red 7 Media's web sites are not intended for use by children, especially those under the age of 13. No one under the age of 13 should provide any personal information or participate in any forums, chats, blogs, online discussions or other online features. Minors under the age of 18 are prohibiting from making any purchases, including subscriptions or event registrations, on our sites. Please discourage your children from providing any personal information about themselves to anyone in any public discussion areas on the Web.

Your Responsibilty

By utilizing the services, products, publications and events provided by AgendaOnline.com and Red 7 Media, you agree that any information you voluntarily provide is accurate and truthful. AgendaOnline.com and Red 7 Media reserve the right to deny access to the same if we believe information has been provided that is false, misleading or otherwise inappropriate. You consent to our user of your contact information as it is outlined in this privacy statement.

Red 7 Media reserves the right to access and disclose personally identifiable information to comply with applicable laws, lawful government requests, any orders of the court or as outlined in this document.

Any changes to this privacy statement will be posted on this page, with the most current date of new information provided. We encourage users to review this page for any changes, and your continued use of our products, services and events constitutes your acceptance of this entire privacy statement.
