The Rubin Museum of Art, the premier museum of Himalayan art in the Western world, celebrated its third anniversary at the Nine Rivers Gala on October 2nd with more than 400 guests. Awards for art and humanitarian achievement were presented to Nobel peace Prize recipient Dr. Muhammad Yunus and former President William J. Clinton. Guests included Bill Baker, Martha Stewart, Petra Nemcova, Salman Rushdie, Liv Ullman, and Elie Wiesel.
